Standard Dimensions
At Santosom we privilege standard dimensions.
In the last years, we have been working to standardize our whole range of products according to the measures of the trucks.
So, assuming that the useful width of the truck is 2400mm (2.4m) we try, and I mean we try because there are equipments that do not allow it, that at least one side is multiple of 2400.
From this principle our most standardized measures were born:
480mm in which 5 flight cases in parallel.
600mm, our most popular and most tried measur e, where 4 in parallel fit.
800mm allows to place 3 flight cases.
1200 another very popular measure, especially in trunks.
Ideally the combination of two of these measures, Width and Length is the optimal situation!
This is also a priority due to other advantages we want our customers to have.
This standardization will allow more balanced loads and, consequently, safer and smoother trips.
Increased cargo organization usually allows for more efficient cargo and therefore a reduction in the number of trips.
