World Refugee Day

The World Refugee Day is celebrated on June 20.

Since 2021, Santosom, in collaboration with the Red Cross of São João da Madeira, receives refugees. It has been a very interesting experience, sometimes with more success, other times with less, but in the end, very positive.

It is part of Santosom's social sustainability policy to collaborate with other companies and institutions in our region, as well as good social practices and respect for the underprivileged.

We take this opportunity to thank our partner institutions, especially Dr. Joana and her team from the São João da Madeira Red Cross for the professional and committed way they treat the refugees. A special thanks to those who are still here and to those who have passed through Santosom during this time.
