Santosom recognised for automation and technological integration at Bit Event 2025
On June 27th, Santosom attended the Bit Event 2025, a gathering dedicated to sharing knowledge, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration within the industrial sector. This event brought together companies that invest in advanced CAD/CAM solutions, with a special focus on Alphacam and Cabinet Vision.
Recognised as a model company
During the event, Santosom was highlighted as a model company in process automation, as a result of the consistent work we have been doing to integrate new technologies throughout our operations.
In addition to this collective recognition, Pedro Ribeiro, a member of the Santosom team, was also acknowledged for his professionalism, dedication, and contribution to the integration and programming of our machinery.
Smart automation serving people
Our team has been developing a robust technological architecture that enables us to manage processes more intelligently and efficiently.
We currently use Alphacam as the programming engine for our CNC machines, allowing for the direct reading of 3D solids created in Solidworks. But our real differentiator lies in the way we integrate all these tools:
· PDM: the document manager that organises and controls all project versions;
· Automation: the communicator that bridges the WebDBD and Alphacam, ensuring that programming is automatically generated based on the 3D solid data.
This technological ecosystem allows us to optimise time, reduce errors, and support our people in what matters most: creativity and technical know-how.
