Santosom | Palau de la Música Catalana
Travel is one of the few things in life where spending money makes you richer.
This is true whether you travel with your family, for pleasure or for work.
The latest experience that validates this was this week's visit to Barcelona.
I had an exclusive visit to the Palau de la Música Catalana, a building designed by Barcelona architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner-one of the greatest representatives of Catalan modernism, built between 1905 and 1908. It is still owned today by the Orpheus of Catalonia. Architecturally it follows, as was typical of the time, the modernism where the greatest exponent was the architect Antoni Gaudi who, among others, has works such as the Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Casa Milà or Guell Park.
Located in the Ribera neighborhood, this Palau de la Musica Catalana was an incredible visit. Being able to have a coffee and water at the central bar between the Palau and the Petit Palau among tourists and locals with time to appreciate every detail and every nook and cranny.
In the main hall, it was eleven in the morning, there was a flamenco concert, the one where Rosalía started and as we passed by, in silence, you could tell that any time is a good time to be at a concert, to listen to music and to let the culture fly.
This all sounds strange and out of place in comparison to the other posts on this blog, but it will inevitably lead to Flight Cases.
It was with great pride that we realized that the Yamaha PM7 that is in the main room is housed in a Santosom flight case, just as the Nexo amplification is housed in an ASD3.1280R rack.
Also in the Petit Palau, the smaller room, which seats about 400 people, has flight cases for Clay Paky, Nexo P10, etc.
Thank you to everyone who allows us to be, not only in these architectural and iconic spaces, but on every stage in the world. With so many artists, so many venues, so many spaces. After these 22 years, it is still a pleasure to be in this activity.
