Santosom Introduces New Flight Cases for the D&B Audiotechnik U-Series
Santosom has just launched a new range of flight cases specifically developed for the new D&B Audiotechnik U Series loudspeakers. Designed to provide maximum protection during transport and storage, these solutions have been created to meet the needs of rental companies, system integrators, and professionals in the professional audio industry.
Full Compatibility with the New U Series
The new D&B Audiotechnik loudspeaker range consists of three models – U3, U5, and U7 – available in both Networked and Passive versions.
Santosom flight cases are designed to accommodate any of these versions, ensuring a secure fit and reliable protection throughout transport, setup, and storage. In addition to the loudspeakers, the cases include dedicated storage for essential accessories, keeping the entire system organised and ready for use.
Three Construction Concepts to Suit Different Needs
To accommodate different workflows and user preferences, Santosom has developed two distinct construction concepts.
SP2 – Low Base and High Lid
The first model follows the well-known SP2 concept, featuring a low base and a high lid. This configuration makes loading and unloading the loudspeakers easier, reducing handling effort during setup and transport.
The case also includes a dedicated accessories compartment, specifically designed to carry the U-Bracket (yoke) and other installation components.
This model is available for transporting 2 × U7 loudspeakers, providing a robust, practical, and secure solution for this larger model.
SP2A – Low Base and High Lid + acessories
Based on the proven SP2 concept, the SP2A includes an integrated accessories compartment.
SP1 – High Base and Low Lid
The second solution features a SP1 construction with a high base and a low lid, a configuration widely appreciated in touring and rental applications for its exceptional durability and excellent stackability.
Like the SP2 version, this flight case includes a dedicated accessories compartment, allowing all the necessary equipment to be transported in a single solution.
For the U5 loudspeaker, versions are available with capacity for 4 or 6 units, optimising transportation and logistics for medium and large-scale events.
